Graduated in Food Engineering from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, where he took the first step in what is his occupation today, by developing the first food product using proteins derived from insects in Portugal.

Founder of Portugal Bugs, the first company dedicated to the production of insects for human consumption and to their application in food products.

Portugal Bugs is the first company in the Iberian Peninsula to sell food products with insects in large retail chains.
