Frederico Fernandes

Frederico Fernandes graduated in Civil Engineering from FEUP in 2002 and completed his MBA at PBS in 2007.

He worked in the construction sector and at SONAE before being appointed, in 2014, Executive Director of Águas e Energia do Porto, and then Chairman of the Board of Directors, a position he held between 2015 and 2021.

He is currently Co-CEO and Director of the BEWG Group (PT) and Guest Professor at Porto Business School.

He is Member of the governing bodies of two of the largest associations in the water sector in Portugal: APDA and AEPSA.
